Where have I gone???

So it feels like I haven't blogged in forever. Things are starting to get a little crazy around here.  School is in full swing for me and I feel like I am never done.  The Dad is doing a lot more training and is going to be gone a lot more.  The boys are doing well getting sick but hanging in there.

My house is finally put back together after the break in but now we have to replace the things we lost...first thing on my list is a new camera!

Halloween is fast approaching and the boys finally have their costumes. Bubba is going as a pirate and Bobbles is going as a bee! I think that they are going to be so adorable to the dismay of The Dad, he wants them to be something scary!

Well back to the grind stone for me!

Break-in

So on September 29th, my house was broken into. I am so upset about it and a little worried they may try and come back.  They pried open my door, the dead bolt was locked and so was the lock on the door.  They then broke the door frame getting in.  They took our tv, 2 digital cameras, a video camera, my laptop, almost all of the dvds, all of The Dad's jewlery, and used my laundry hamper to carry it all out.  The lady that comes to clean the houses before someone moves in saw them loading up their suburban but thought that they lived here.

The police came and took all of the statements and fingerprinted the house, they said that since we had some of the serial numbers that our odds of getting something back increase.  I really don't think that we will be getting anything back.  I feel vialatd, why would someone break into my house and steal from me?? What is the world coming to??

Now we are trying to remove fingerprinting goo off of everything, we just got a new front door, and are waiting for are alarm..lesson learned should have already gotten that renters insurance.
