Almost Time...

So today I got the oil changed in my car and filled it up with gas, and I already have most of the stuff packed in the duffel bag for our trip home on Friday. I am excited I will get to spend the weekend with my family(minus one sister and brother-in-law) which in and of itself is a miracle to have us all in one place at the same time. I come from a large family there are my parents and a total of 6 kids! So as you can see getting us all in one place can prove to be a challenge.

I will be bringing my baby sister Buggy home with me for two whole weeks! I am so excited that she is going to be coming back with me. Buggy is the youngest of us all, she is 12 years old and way more mature than her age. I think that we are going to have a ton of fun!

.....well back to packing!

The hits keep coming...

It never fails every time The Dad is gone things just start going wrong, I don't know why they just do. So far in the month that he has been gone I spilled coffee on my computer and the keys wouldn't work, Bubba put Bobbles on his bed and he fell off and his tooth went through the front of his gum, and now Bubba broke the lens off my camera that my rents just got me for x-mas. I tried to put the dang thing back on but it wont work the screen just keeps saying lens error and wont do anything. AHHHHHHH!!! I'm not sure what else is going to go wrong but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing does.

In other news, I saw this commercial and read about it online about the suit against yaz, yazmin, and ocella and when I was reading the info online they are saying that yazmin/yaz could have caused gall bladder problems. I am going to look into this further because I had my gall bladder removed in 08 and I was not in a risk group for having gall bladder problems. It would be interesting to know if the pills could have caused it.

Bobbles is now an official walker, he has been taking steps and holding on to the furniture and walking for a couple months now but the other day he walked the length of the living room without holding on to anything and he has just taken off from there. I am so excited that he is a walker now but am also cringing because now he will be into everything with his brother. AHHH why do they have to grow up so fast. Now that the kids are in bed I am off to clean up the damage from the tornado I call kids and then sit and have quiet time!

A Thousand Words...

They say that a picture can say a thousand words, and I think that is true. I think that you can tell a persons personality from looking at a picture, and sometimes you can even see what the person is thinking. I love taking pictures of my kids and then looking back at those photos and can remember exactly what my kids were doing and how they felt/and I felt at that exact moment.  I just love looking at these photos. Are any of you as obsessed with taking pictures as I am?

Kind of a catch all post...

Today was cleaning day, I went a little crazy and cleaned everything from top to bottom today and now my bad is protesting! My friend karebear and her two kids are coming to visit me tomorrow and they will be here for a week, I am so excited to see them. We haven't been able to see each other since we both went to new posts.

Other news, I am going home for the weekend of Father's Day and I am going to see my parents and all of my siblings which is very exciting since we all haven't been in the same place at the same time for quite some time now.  One thing that I am really excited for is that I will be bringing my baby sister back with me until the 4th! I am so excited we are going to have so much fun.

Now I am going to sit here on the couch drink my soda and maybe eat a snack and relax! Have a great night everybody!

Water time fun...

Today was one of those really hot days so me and a couple of my friends decided to take the kids to the sprinkler park on post.  Let me tell you how much fun my two boys had! Bubba was running around like a crazy person jumping through all of the fountains, grabbing the squirt gun and spraying water on unsuspecting people. I could hear him laughing from a million miles away.

Bobbles was a little timid at first, this was the first time he had been in water (other than the tub) and it was a little chilly! After a while he was getting down on the ground and bear crawling through the puddles. I took him through some of the fountains and he didn't cry when the water was coming down on him! I was very impressed. I remember the first time I took Bubba and he did not like it AT. ALL, so I was prepared for a screaming fit but Bobbles never once cried.

It was such a great time watching them play and I am definitely going to have to take them again. The bonus is that now they are both upstairs passes out to the world...so I had better get off here and go and get some of my chores done!

What was he thinking...

Have you ever had one of those moments where you look at your child and think who are you and what are you doing?

I had one of those moments today, we went to the grocery store to pick up milk and formula seeing as we ran out of all of the above. We checked out and then while I am putting groceries in the trunk of the car Bubba says "oh mommy my magazine" I turned around and said what magazine and there he is holding a magazine from the store and Bobbles is holding one of those chargeable cards. Now I know that I didn't buy those things, and the first thing that pops into my head is my kid just stole from the grocery store!

After I finished loading the groceries into the car I marched his little hiny back into the store and made him go to the service counter and give the lady there the stuff that he had stolen and apologize for stealing. I don't even know what to think about the whole situation. I know that all kids do these things (right?!?!?), but at the same time I know that I have told him that stealing is wrong.

What would you have done in this situation, did I do the right thing? I am just trying to make sure that my kids grow up and know that stealing is wrong, that we don't take things without paying for them, or asking for them. Ah, my son the klepto!
